protect against viruses. Anti-Virus Protection provides administrators a powerful
all-in-one anti-virus solution that is easy to install and use. Integrated with WaveOne's email server, Anti-Virus Protection
stops dangerous viruses before they make it to an end-user’s e-mail client.
Fully Integrated with WaveOne Email Server
WaveOne Anti-Virus Protection is run on our server and scans e-mail messages as they come
into the server and does not require installation of an agent on end-users'
computers. Once the Anti-Virus Protection has identified an e-mail message as
potentially having a virus, an administrator can choose among several options
to address the issue:
Remove a virus from an e-mail or attachment and then
forward the message to its original recipient or back to the sender
Forward an infected e-mail message to an administrator
who can determine a course of action
Delete infected messages altogether

Anti-Virus Protection scans incoming, out-going and internal messages so users
are protected from virus threats. It detects malicious viruses, worms, and
Trojan horses in all major file types including mobile code and compressed file
formats. It can also automatically send a notification to the sender of a
virus infected message
